Leigh was diagnosed at the age of 33 (in 2004) with breast cancer. Realizing that she never thought much about breast cancer before her own diagnosis, she decided to put her background in education & media strategy to work creating a campaign and programs designed to better reach this audience. She is now a mother to Eli (born in 2011) and Leo (born in 2012).
MEAGHAN ABBOTT -
Community Engagement & Operations, Manager
Meaghan is a career non-profit leader who oversees the Foundation’s operations and community engagement. Meaghan strives to bring innovation and compassion to both the development and programmatic sides of nonprofit organizations. Prior to joining the Foundation, Meaghan worked in youth programming, mentoring, and food banking. She has masters degree in Community Organizing and Social Administration from the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work.
ALLI MATSON -
Program Development, Manager
Alli oversees the College Outreach Program and works directly with the campuses in the program to improve the educational resources we provide. Previously the Coordinator of Sexual Health Education Programs at the University of Maryland - College Park, she brings a deep understanding of college-based programming to the Foundation.
MADELINE WILLIAMS -
Special Events Coordinator
Madeline joins the Foundation after a two year stint in professional soccer. She served as the Marketing and Communications Manager for Penn FC (formerly known as the Harrisburg City Islanders) and brings her experience and enthusiasm for event planning and empowerment to the team. Madeline is a 2016 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she studied Communications Media, Spanish and Business.
